About The Author
Joe R. Feagin is Professor of sociology at Texas A&M University. He is author of 52 books, including Black in Blue: African-American Police Officers and Racism (2007); and, most recently, Two-Faced Racism: White in the Backstage and Frontstage (2007).
Hernán Vera is Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida–Gainesville and a leading scholar in U.S. racial and ethnic relations. His books include Screen Saviors: Hollywood Fictions of Whiteness.
