Brexit – Information for our EU customers

Due to the fact that the UK has now left the EU, and because the deal that was made has not been clearly defined, Pluto has been experiencing some difficulties in supplying books to European customers. We are only now becoming aware of the changes in rules and extra costs surrounding shipping, customs and VAT.

As a small company, the cost and administration required is particularly onerous and it may result in us having to suspend sales of printed books to European customers. This is something that we hope we will not have to do.

In the meantime, please be aware that if you are a European customer, ordering a book from our website may result in extra charges that you will have to pay to receive the book. We are working hard to figure out what these are so that we can include these in the price we charge you, but because each country is different this is taking a lot of time.

We won’t be able to refund you for these charges. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope that you will bear with us. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

Please note that your delivery may take longer to reach you than usual due to delays at the border.
