Ever since its creation in 1948 the state of Israel has ignored International Law including United Nations Resolutions. U.N. Resolution 194 (1948) states that “refugees, wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours, should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date”. This is just one of over 60 U.N. resolutions that Israel has ignored. This talk will review these many violations of International Law.
Ben White is a writer, journalist, researcher, and activist, specialising in Palestine/Israel. He has published two books, Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner’s Guide and Palestinians in Israel Segregation, Discrimination and Democracy, which have received endorsements from Desmond Tutu, Booker Prize-shortlisted author Ahdaf Soueif, Ilan Pappe, Ali Abunimah, and others.
This talk is the final part of the discussion series ‘Palestine: Past, Present Future’ and is open to all.
