Event hosted by Royal Society for Public Health
This is a pivotal moment for public health, with Covid-19 highlighting the limits of the current status quo. The pandemic has shown the fallacy of focusing on personal responsibility; the value of local public health teams; the social and economic cost of inequality; and that health means far more than just healthcare. What must follow is a bold vision for public health.
This event will challenge the country’s biggest public health thinkers to define what must follow – to deliver healthy, prosperous and fair lives today; and ensure resilience to health shocks in the future.
Join this RSPH webinar to hear from and converse with leading public health experts:
This event will also coincide with the launch of Chris Thomas’ new book: The Five Health Frontiers, which explores how the scale of Nye Bevan’s ambition on healthcare should be extended to public health, and outlines new policies to scale political ambition.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions to the panel– please send any pre-questions to [email protected]
