In person event hosted by Fonderie Darling
Starting at 5:30 pm, the public is invited to discover The Hologram in presence of the artist Cassie Thornton, who will launch a book and an animated video under the same title, which will complete the exhibition Feedback #6: Marshall McLuhan and the Arts. The Hologram is a collective health project founded by Cassie in 2016, but which is now organized and used by many people around the world. It is based on the idea that all our crises are linked and that everyone is a little sick. It is a health monitoring and diagnostic system, activated by four people at a time, online or in person. Three non-expert participants create a three-dimensional “hologram” of the physical, psychological and social health of a fourth participant. The result is the construction of a robust network of multidimensional health, collectively oriented social practices, and trust to survive racial capitalism. In the process of her residency at Fonderie Darling, will host a workshop and conversations for people to understand and use The Hologram in their own lives.
