Please read the following carefully before purchasing a ticket. We have worked hard to organise a Festival that will deliver as much value as possible to ticket holders. We hope you have a fantastic day. We nonetheless need to protect our interests, as well as those of other ticket holders, and believe that the following terms and conditions are a reasonable way to do that.

They apply to the sale of any ticket, although your legal rights are naturally unaffected. In the event of any conflict, any terms and conditions that conflict with your legal rights shall be construed to the fullest extent compatible with the law and the remainder shall continue to have full effect.

We are committed to providing a Festival that is accessible to all members of our community. We are working hard with the venue to ensure that is the case. Please contact us at the earliest opportunity with any specific requirements and we shall do our best to accommodate them.

We only offer refunds for tickets that indicate you may cancel without penalty. All other tickets are strictly non-refundable and for the named ticket holder(s) only. Please ensure you choose the ticket that is right for you.

Although we have provided details of the authors, partners, schedules, discounts, and other arrangements in good faith, you accept that these are provisional and not material to your purchase of a ticket to the Festival. We reserve the right to change such arrangements at any time and without notice.

You may be searched on entry to the venue or at other reasonable times in the interests of security; in any case, searches shall be carried out respectfully and by trained staff.

We may make an audio, video, and/or photographic recording of the Festival. You grant us irrevocable permission to make such recordings and to use them (including your likeness) for any purpose, in any media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, and in any jurisdiction or territory, without compensation, credit, or other consideration. Any recordings shall be our sole property and we may transfer any such rights to successors, assignees, and licensees.

You may take still photographs of the Festival, but audio or video recordings are strictly prohibited without our prior written permission. You will kindly adhere to any request from a speaker not to take photographs and/or to respect the confidence of the discussion.

We may use your personal data as described in our privacy policy. This document also sets out your rights under the relevant legislation, how to exercise such rights, and where to seek help in enforcing them. We encourage you to read it.
