Healing Justice Ldn is very happy to mark the launch of this incredible work with an event, held by Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan.
This event will involve:
This afternoon of activities will be a creative exploration of abolition, notions of safety, islamophobia, and State violence.
We will be asking how can we transform the world? How can we vision futures free from State violence? How can language and narrative be used to reimagine the world? How can imagination be used to disrupt, upturn, and uproot? We may not have all the answers but we can collectively strengthen our ability to imagine beyond our current reality for ourselves and our future selves.
It is hoped that the discussion/workshop hybrid will also subvert ways that knowledge is traditionally passed, incorporating creativity as a methodology. We all can participate, question, critically analyse, struggle, demand and believe in order to, someday, bring about transformation.
