Robert Ovetz, editor of Workers’ Inquiry and Global Class Struggle: Tactics, Strategies, Objectives (Pluto Press, 2020), will discuss the role of workers’ inquiries and their value to worker organizing. His workers’ inquiry into the 2016 strike threat by more than 20,000 members of the California Faculty Association in the California State University system is included in Workers’ Inquiry and Global Class Struggle. Robert will examine the methods and experience of conducting workers’ inquiries and their use for academic labor organizing.
